THE ARTISTs-IN-RESIDENCE
the 2026 ARTISTs-IN-RESIDENCE
The Arroscia Residency is pleased to announce our 2026 artists-in-residence: Sharon Cheuk Wun Lee, Raquel de la Coba Martinez, Juana Subercaseaux, with Julie Harrison joining as mentoring artist.
The selection drew 188 strong applicants from 45 countries. Seven jurors carefully evaluated submissions and selected these artists for their outstanding portfolios and thoughtful, insightful application responses. Congratulations to the chosen artists on this achievement in a highly competitive process.
For 2026 we introduced an established artist to serve as mentor to the cohort. While our focus remains supporting emerging and mid‑career artists, a mentor can be invaluable in planning next career steps, seeking gallery representation and positioning work for museum collections. Julie Harrison has been appointed Artist‑in‑Residence (Mentor) for this year.
